行政院首次召開「加速投資台灣專案會議」，院長賴清德對經濟部所屬招商中心功能表達不滿。經濟部長沈榮津今( 28 )日指出，招商中心是台灣招商的門面，既然顧客(廠商)有期許就需要更加努力。沈榮津宣示，將引進具有服務熱忱的年輕人到招商中心，必要時擴充編制，讓顧客有感。
加速投資台灣專案會議首度開會，行政院長賴清德主持，並在會後記者會上，對經濟部所屬招商服務中心功能表達不滿，認為招商中心已淪為被動「彙整中心」，未來應「化被動為主動」，對僑外投資、本國企業都擬定招商計畫。
面對賴清德的質疑，經濟部長沈榮津指出，招商中心為台灣招商的門面，需要一票有熱忱的年輕人進來，才能讓外商或國內未來潛在投資人有感，將進一步與國發會配合，檢討招商中心組織運作機制。
沈榮津強調，既然在台外商對招商中心提出抱怨，「顧客有期許就要努力」，未來將以同理心，從投資者角度出發提供服務，努力讓顧客有感。沈榮津指出，改革方案定案後會針對資源重新配置進行討論，必要時擴充編制或增加經費，目前不預設立場。
